ABOUT ME
I love movement – both physical and mental, meaningful encounters, and spirituality.
I came into contact with Yoga as a child and was fascinated by the effect it had on my body. I still remember the feeling of lying in Savasana for the first time and consciously guiding my body into deep relaxation. My fascination for body and energy work was awakened and has expanded over the years and deepened with training and experience. I have tried and learned many techniques, explored the interaction between body and psyche and experienced a deep compassionate process with myself. Consciously allowing, accepting and letting feelings flow - without judgment - changes and relaxes everything. My in-depth and comprehensive training and further education in yoga, meditation, shiatsu and, most recently, my training as a naturopath offer a holistic approach.
My studies in Sustainable Development have taught me a lot. They not only led me out into the wide world, but more importantly, deep within myself. During this time, I learned a lot about other countries, cultures, people, nature, and the environment — and also about myself: I reconsidered my beliefs, developed a deeper awareness of body and mind, opened myself to new experiences, and gained trust in the flow of life.
Sustainability and processes of transformation are close to my heart. There is much to change and improve for a sustainable and peaceful world. But the change we want to see around us begins within us. Yoga is transformation! Yoga has the power to face both inner and outer challenges with proven tools. Yoga is my greatest gift, accompanying and teaching me anew every single day. I strive to create change on both an individual and a collective level.
Today I share my experiences in yoga classes, shiatsu treatments and accompany people through transformation processes. I love to create non-judgmental spaces where feelings and thoughts are allowed to show themselves, where feeling and sensing are the focus and healing processes can ultimately unfold.
